Flow CRM

Comparison

Flow CRM vs Jobber for HVAC contractors

Jobber is a solid, well-reviewed tool for any home-service business, from lawn care to plumbing. That breadth is the trade-off: nothing in it knows what a furnace is. Here is an honest look at where each one fits.

What Jobber does well

  • Polished native apps for iOS and Android with offline access.
  • Invoicing, online payments and a client hub, all built in.
  • Two-way QuickBooks Online sync.
  • Years of reviews from thousands of small service businesses.

Where Flow CRM wins for an HVAC shop

  • Equipment records on every customer: model, serial, install date, parts and labor warranty.
  • Good/better/best quotes with AFUE and SEER specs, signed from the driveway, then invoiced in one tap.
  • Spring tune-up, fall furnace check and filter reminders that go out on their own.
  • Maintenance agreements with visits, renewals and a booking link for the customer.
  • Priced per technician. Office staff are free, and seats scale down after the season.

Common questions

Can I move my customers from Jobber to Flow CRM?
Yes. Export your clients from Jobber as a CSV and the import wizard maps the columns. Equipment and agreements can come in from a second sheet, and our support team will help.
Does Flow CRM do invoicing like Jobber?
Yes. Create an invoice from a completed job in one tap, email it with a pay-online link, or record a check at the door. Customers pay by card through your own Stripe account. Invoices and payments export as a QuickBooks-friendly CSV; a direct QuickBooks sync is not available yet.
Is Flow CRM cheaper than Jobber?
For a one-truck shop it is close. For a crew it is usually less per technician, because office staff are free and you can drop seats when the season ends.
