Flow CRM

Comparison

Flow CRM vs Housecall Pro for HVAC contractors

Housecall Pro is the closest match to how Flow CRM is sold: self-serve, a free trial, built for teams from one truck up. It has far more users, more reviews and more features. Flow CRM goes deeper on the HVAC specifics and costs less as you add techs.

What Housecall Pro does well

  • Trusted by a very large base of home-service pros, with tens of thousands of public reviews.
  • Invoicing, card payments, consumer financing and review requests built in.
  • QuickBooks integration and a native app.
  • Phone support and an onboarding team.

Where Flow CRM wins for an HVAC shop

  • A customer record built around the equipment: model, serial, warranty dates and every past visit.
  • Good/better/best quotes with the specs a homeowner compares, signed the same day.
  • Seasonal reminders and maintenance agreements as a first-class feature, not an add-on.
  • One plan with everything in it. No tier to upgrade to for the feature you need.
  • Per-technician pricing that scales back when the season does.

Common questions

Can I move my customers from Housecall Pro to Flow CRM?
Yes. Export your customer list as a CSV and the import wizard maps the columns. Our support team will help with equipment and service plans.
Does Flow CRM take payments like Housecall Pro?
Yes. Every invoice carries a Pay now button; the customer pays by card through your own Stripe account and the money lands in your bank. You can also record cash and checks at the door. Consumer financing is not offered.
Why is Flow CRM one plan instead of tiers?
Because an HVAC shop needs the whole workflow on day one: customers, equipment, quotes, agreements and reminders. Charging per technician keeps it simple and fair for seasonal crews.
